in virtually any league that was playing ball: Cuba, the U.S., Mexico,
Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Canada, and Puerto Rico. His Cuban
Winter League career batting average was .284 and he was inducted
into Cuba's Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975. |
