Winning 268 games in a 19-year career (all of it with Baltimore), Palmer ranks as the best pitcher in Oriole history. Winning 20 games or more eight different seasons, he won three Cy Young Awards in a 4-year span ('73, '75, '76) and his 2.86 ERA is 4th on the all-time list among pitchers with 3,000 or more innings pitched.
