| The Dean brothers were the mainstays of the 1934 Cardinals pitching staff. Before the championship season began, older brother Dizzy told the Cardinals brass, "Me and Paul'll win 45 games." But this was one time that ol' Diz didn't exaggerate: He won 30 while Paul won 19! |
