A 9-time All-Star most famous for his unique screwball, Hubbell posted 253-154 record in 16 seasons with Giants. His 1.66 ERA in 1933 is best in franchise history, and his 46.1-consecutive scoreless innings in 1933 is also a franchise record. Another highlight occurred at the Polo Grounds in the 1934 All Star Game, when he struck out 6 batters, including Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Jimmy Foxx.
