Following legendary Hall of Fame manager Walter
Alston is no easy task, but passionate Tommy Lasorda bled "Dodger
Blue" for twenty years, racking up 1,599 victories to rank 13th on
the all-time Major League managerial list while winning two World Series
titles (1981 and 1988), four NL pennants and eight division titles. His
number 2 was retired in 1997--the same year he was inducted into the Baseball
Hall of Fame.
