| An all around ballplayer that excelled
in the field and at bat, Johnson starred for the Hilldale Daisies
for 10 years before finishing another 10 years with the Pittsburgh
Crawfords. His career batting average was .322; he played winter
ball in Cuba. Johnson was inducted into Cooperstown's Hall of
Fame in 1975. |
